As the Member of Parliament for Simcoe–Grey, I am pleased to welcome you to the 4th Annual Chuck’s Roadhouse Wasaga Beach Charity Golf Tournament.

As a local business owner, Jessica Bigalke has done more than build a successful restaurant at Chuck’s Roadhouse—she has promoted a culture of generosity and community involvement. Through her leadership, the restaurant has become known not only for its success but has evolved into a welcoming space for the community to come together, share ideas and make a positive impact in the community.

​

This event brings together local businesses, golfers, and supporters for an unforgettable day on the course. The goal is to surpass the fundraising totals achieved in previous years, with 100 percent of proceeds once again, going directly to the incredible Georgian Triangle Humane Society (GTHS).

 

Founded in 1999, GTHS shelters and prepares approximately 1,500 animals each year for adoption, supports another 3,000 animals through community programs designed to keep pets out of shelters, and connects more than 2,000 local children annually with animals through its after-school programs. The GTHS awaits an exciting new chapter with expansion of the David & Helen Capin Regional Centre for Pets and People, which will only enhance the truly remarkable services they currently provide.

I would like to thank Jessica and her entire Chuck’s Roadhouse Team as well as those who take their time to volunteer for this annual event for their continued commitment to our community and to animals in need. I would also like to thank Marlwood Golf and Country Club for hosting and their hospitality.
