The Georgian Triangle Humane Society (GTHS) is a non-profit charity that has proudly served the South Georgian Bay region since 1999. Each year, GTHS rescues and cares for an average of 1,500 animals, providing them with safe shelter, medical care, and the chance to be adopted into loving fur-ever homes.
Beyond rescue and adoption, GTHS helps keep more than 3,000 pets out of the system annually through vital programs and services that support families in need - ensuring pets stay where they belong: at home.
But their impact doesn't stop with animals. GTHS also offers a safe, welcoming space for over 2,000 youth through after-school programs that foster compassion, responsibility, and the powerful bond between humans and animals. These programs teach empathy, build confidence, and provide some much needed cuddle time that benefits everyone involved.
